Mena, Arkansas
There is so much beauty and serenity in the hills and valleys of Arkansas. Queen Wilhelmina State Park is such a lovely place to go and relax and just enjoy yourself. Driving along curvy Scenic 88, and enjoying the endless amount of trees is pretty breathtaking. I had an interesting day hiking along the Lover's Leap trail. It was hot but the trail did not defeat me. Just exploring and not having a clue where I was going made it even more intriguing. I have to admit, the view from the top was amazing and it was a fun and interesting journey.

Congratulations to the Erickson Family!

I wanted to take the time to welcome little Rowan Henry into the world. He was born on July 11, 2008 at 5:33 p.m. weighing a lovely 8 pounds and 6 ounces (the same as his sister Audrey) and 21 inches long. I am so utterly happy for Jennifer & Drew. Mother and baby are resting and recovering well. You can stay updated with Jennifer, her family and her photography by visiting her site--which I have linked on the right--at http://www.jenniferericksonphotography.com/. He is so ADORABLE! Congratulations you guys! I can't wait to see family pictures.
UPDATE: Jennifer posted new photos of Ace and Row...they are too cute for words! Amazingly beautiful. Love the stroller Jen!

Beautiful baby girl
My friend Dainelle gave birth to her baby girl on June 18, 2008. Leah is her name and she is such a sweet, beautiful and quiet baby. She has a strong will and I wonder if she will have her mother's fiesty attitude. I hope so at least! ;-) I cannot wait to watch her as she continues to change and grow older. Congratulations Dainelle and LaKelvin!

Chris & Elisa
These two tied the knot on Saturday, June 7, 2008, at the Cherokee Water Co. It was a beautiful ceremony and I was delighted to share that happy and memorable day with them. She had a great group of young women that were in her bridal party. They looked lovely. Everyone did! Elisa was a beautiful bride and Chris was a handsome groom. They nervously awaited to see one another and it was well worth the wait. So Chris what did you think about the dress? I wish these two a lifetime of happiness, love, health and safety.

Uncertain, Texas
In an uncertain place, lies a beautiful lake. To me, this natural lake is gorgeous, beautiful and serene. I love to go to Caddo to clear my mind; to have that bit of silence where I am not thinking about anything. Just complete serenity.
