So Emily was down to model for me and I was extremely happy that she said yes! She is an amazing young woman and beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. Her personality shows in her photos. She can go from being very serious to having that crazy infectious laugh and smile that she has. We had a wonderful Saturday with lots of sunshine and blue skies that helped make the day even more wonderful. Emily is just Emily. I can't describe her but my lens can...every time. I always capture these lovely shots of her and when I edit her photos; I can stare at her face forever! She will be starting a new chapter in her life next year at UNT and I wish her nothing but the absolute best in life. I have no doubts or worries in that department. ;-) Did I mention that she has an INCREDIBLE voice?! Well yeah she does!

Hello 2010--and no this was not posted via Facebook!
So glad that the new year has made its debut. I am so excited to have the privilege & blessing to be alive to see another year. I anticipate so many wonderful things in 2010! Goal: Book more photography sessions and book more weddings! Will I? Well that is up to me. Everyone talks about resolutions...blah...I do not do those! As Buddha once said, "Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment." I will continue to workout; I will continue to learn new things about photography; I will continue to perfect my trade; I will continue to surround myself with positive individuals that inspire and motivate me; I will continue to have love in my heart and soul and I will always remember my foundation. I do hope that this is a good year for us all. I know that things in life are unpredictable and there are no guarantees. I do hope that I am blessed to be able to continue to do the things I so love to do and the things that I aspire to do as well. Happy 2010 everyone! I hope I continue to capture moments for you all!

Kipton Reid
Congratulations to Nikki & John on their new arrival. A beautiful baby boy that arrived at 4:34 p.m., weighing 9 pounds, 9 ounces and 23 inches long. Yes, you read that correctly! ;-) I wish these guys the absolute best. They are truly a beautiful family. Trystan & Kaleb are proud big brothers. Mom and baby are doing good [mom's doing real good]. Nikki & John, I wish you and your family the absolute best in life, love, health, prosperity and enjoyment, as you embark on this new journey in your lives. I can't wait to see the house but from what I have seen so far, it is beautiful. Just like Kipton. Good luck with everything and I hope that things go as planned with the move.

Fall Inspiration
Fall always inspires me. The colors of the leaves and the beauty of everything changing is amazing. I have had the opportunity to work with some great individuals and I cannot wait to get the chance to upload some of those photos. Life of course has been and will always be busy...it would not be life if it were not. I am thankful for so much but I am thankful for my clients, friends & family. I want to take the time to thank one person in particular, my very dear friend Jennifer Erickson. She has been my rock through my photography ups and downs and I appreciate her more than she will ever know. Continue to make beautiful work Jen and thank you for always inspiring me. I hope to work with you again in the future! The link to her blog/site is on the right. Alas, here is a photo of Emily, a blog post will follow! She's an amazing young woman...I know she will do great things in life.
